Become a certified family court mediator in West Virginia with this 40-hour Family Court Mediation Training, the only course of its kind offered in the state. This hybrid mediation course combines online learning with an in-person session in Davis, WV, September 16–18. Designed for individuals seeking West Virginia family court mediator certification, the training covers WV family law, domestic violence, conflict resolution, and mediation techniques to help families create effective parenting plans. Participants must attend all sessions and meet additional Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia requirements to apply for certification. This program will be submitted for 44 CLEs in West Virginia. Registration is full and has closed. This course is scheduled to be offered again in August, 2028. We are exploring the possibility of offering a course that would meet the requirements for the educational component in both West Virginia and Virginia for the fall of 2027 which may be a hybrid program such as that offered in 2025 and 2026.
